Zhengzhou, China, July 1, 2017 –This summer, CityOn. Zhengzhou Shopping Center welcomes the national treasure of the Netherlands --Miffy. This cartoon character possessing unaccountable fans over the world will meet and greet the customers in the great interactive exhibition “Miffy’s Magical World”, which is the first special theme exhibition in china. On July 1st, A official from the Netherlands Embassy is present at the opening ceremony of the exhibition in CityOn.Zhengzhou. It’s worth mentioning that CityOn’s star kids-oriented program “The Little Talent Summer Camp” is also officially launched on the same day. Kids recruited to the program will have a chance to experience various positions in supporting the real exhibition. This will be the first in China for children to be able to participate in management of world-renowned IP exhibition.

Miffy was born in the year of 1955 and is the classic cartoon character created by Dutch illustrator Dick Bruna. The shape of her “X”-shaped mouth is the symbolic characteristic of Miffy, and her image is revealed vividly on the paper through simple lines. Miffy has soon gained worldwide popularity since birth. Miffy is cute, and she loves reading, doing sports, travelling, tasting different food and experiencing new things, and courageous to face difficulties, which are all common personality traits shared by Dutch people. As the Netherlands cultural ambassador credited by the world, Miffy will bring the most exciting trip for children in CityOn.

This Exhibition will last from July 1st to August 31st , and is consist of static display exhibition, interactive games, cartoon plays, and flash stores , etc., to recreate the magic world of Miffy’s for customers. During this exhibition, the whole shopping mall will be decorated into Miffy’s House, with different kinds of Miffy’s sculptures placed in every corner of the shopping mall. Moreover, several interactive games zone with different themes have been created, including “The Miffy Studio” in which children could draw Miffy in their mind and excellent work will be selected to put up on the exhibiting wall; they could fish in the pool with Miffy surrounded by mini-tents, mushroom houses and bonfire. Other settings include mini-library, Miffy’s soccer ball, reading Miffy books, watching Miffy cartoons and even making Miffy masks. What’s more, customers could buy the limited edition of Miffy products and snack food in the shopping mall during the exhibition. .

The program kicked off at the same time is CityOn’s star kids-oriented program “The Little Talent Summer Camp”. The program is now open for applications, and children recruited get the chance to act as little operating officer of the Miffy exhibition. Besides, children could choose to experience various different positions such as “Miffy Manager“,"Security Guard","Shopping Guider","Exhibition Waiter".Children aged 6 to 12 are welcomed to apply via CityOn hotline, Weibo, Wechat and official homepage website.
